I Saw Things I Imagined
Cierra Britton Gallery is excited to present our second exhibition I Saw Things I Imagined, a group exhibition featuring works by seven artists, Ambrose Rhapsody Murray, Adama Delphine Fawundu, Alisa Sikleanos-Carter, Nola Ayoola, Augustina Wang, Amy Amalia, and Lewinale Havette.
I Saw Things I Imagined is an exhibition that engages artists who are creating visuals that are sourced from dreams, memories, and visions. Inspired by Solange’s “Things I Imagined”, this collection of works explores the conscious and unconscious that artists have visualized through a multitude of mediums including painting, textiles, works on paper, and video. The intention of this exhibit is to question where the creative/spiritual source comes from, how we connect with the source, and what that looks like.
